• Change engine oil
• Clean or replace* air filter
• Replace Spark Plug*
• Check belt
• Adjust valves
• Check and set engine RPM
• Check recoil rope condition, replace if needed*
• Adjust and lube cables, check operation (free movement)
• Check blade condition, sharpen or replace*
• Clean out grass build-up from cutter housing
• Check condition of  all wheel bearings
• Check drive ratchets and springs
• Check electric starting system (as applicable)
• Check fasteners (nuts & bolts) for condition and tightness
• Clean unit
• Final operation and safety check
